A horror trail through the mansion made famous as Wayne Manor, plus an outdoor cinema, falconry, and campfire s’mores in the deer park. 4pm–midnight, 20 Oct–1 Nov 2026.
- Format: A live-action horror trail through Wollaton Hall (the mansion made famous as Wayne Manor), plus outdoor cinema, falconry and campfire s’mores in the deer park.
- A theatrical horror trail rather than a hands-on paranormal investigation.
- No contact: Performers will not make physical contact with guests; please don’t touch performers, fixtures or historic fabric.
- Supervision & age: All ages welcome; under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times, given uneven ground and low lighting.
- Optional: Your ticket covers the whole evening — only the timed headline experience needs a booked slot, so you can enjoy the festival, market and food areas without it.
A dramatic Elizabethan prodigy house set in 500 acres of deer park (and famous as the exterior of Wayne Manor in recent Batman films), Wollaton Hall’s grand staircases and natural history galleries take on a very different character after dark. This Halloween, the mansion’s live-action horror trail is just the start: the wider deer park hosts an outdoor cinema screening Halloween classics, a campfire s’mores station, and an extended lantern trail across the parkland, so families and groups can build a whole evening around one ticket.
Why you should book this
Wollaton Hall’s recognisable Batman-film exterior draws visitors year-round, but the deer park lantern trail, outdoor cinema, and falconry display are exclusive to this Halloween week. Families in particular get outsized value here — the outdoor cinema and campfire station alone are worth a visit even without the horror trail.

🚗 Getting there & parking
By car: Free on-site parking at Wollaton Park — allow around 8–10 minutes to walk from the car park to the Hall itself, since the parkland is large. By train: Nottingham Station is a 20-minute drive or bus ride away; this venue is not realistically walkable from the station.
🕐 Entry & times
Daily 4:00pm–12:00am, 20 Oct–1 Nov 2026. A valid ticket for your chosen date admits you to the whole evening; the timed headline experience needs its booked slot. Arrive a little before your slot — late arrivals are accommodated in a later slot subject to availability.
⚠ Code of conduct
Prohibited at all events: real or imitation weapons, full-face masks that prevent ID checks, and glass containers. Costumes are welcome within those limits. Security searches may be carried out on entry. Abusive or threatening behaviour, or failure to follow venue instructions, means removal without a refund.
Content note: Outdoor sections on grass/gravel paths — weatherproof clothing recommended; indoor trail includes 2 jump-scare moments. Real deer roam the park (kept at a safe distance from the route) — those with animal allergies should be aware. Genuine historic buildings. Expect uneven floors and, at some venues, steep stairs and limited step-free access.
