About this
Event Description
Three nights inside one of Britain’s most notorious haunted buildings.
The oldest building in Wotton-under-Edge, with deeds describing it as dating ‘to Time Immemorial’ and parts believed to reach back to the 12th century. It stands on a reputed Bronze Age settlement and pagan burial ground beside St Mary’s Church, featured on *Most Haunted* in 2004, and is widely called one of Britain’s most haunted buildings.
Owned by the Humphries family since 1968, the inn runs its own overnight hunts year-round. For three nights we scale that up: a family twilight hunt, a standard escape, and Premium and VIP vigils using EMF sweeps, EVP sessions and traditional techniques under guide supervision. Nothing is staged and no outcome is promised — this is a real investigation, not a show.
What’s included
Guided torch-lit tour and hot/cold drinks on Standard. Premium adds structured vigils, ghost-hunting equipment and a Cotswold supper. VIP adds an extended late session with a historian element and keepsake.
